Karla Gochenour

Karla Gochenour is not your typical nurse practitioner — she’s a visionary healer, a fierce advocate for total-body wellness, and the unapologetic force behind Pineland Aesthetic Medicine. With over two decades of clinical experience, Karla blends medical precision with intuitive care, guiding patients toward radical, long-term transformation in both body and mind.
She is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC), an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), and a proud inductee of the Phi Pi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International — the global honor society for nursing excellence. Her clinical journey began in home health, where she served post-surgical and post-hospitalization patients with compassion, grit, and a relentless drive to empower those who had been overlooked. That same fire now fuels her passion for hormone optimization and metabolic health.
Karla earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from Chamberlain University and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Nursing (DNP), set to be completed in 2025. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and holds active memberships with the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine, The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), the Obesity Medicine Association, the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners, and the North Carolina Nurses Association.
Karla’s work is focused on Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT), GLP-1–based weight loss protocols, and comprehensive metabolic care. Her practice is built around personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that meet patients where they are — helping them reclaim energy, strength, mental clarity, and confidence. She brings a fiercely supportive, no-nonsense approach that prioritizes lasting results and lifelong wellness over trends and quick fixes.
