Dr. Karla Gochenour, DNP is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice with over 20 years of frontline healthcare experience. She is the Founder and Clinical Director of Pineland Aesthetic Medicine, a concierge, cash-based practice specializing in evidence-based hormone and metabolic care.
Dr. Gochenour’s clinical background spans home health, post-surgical care, and chronic disease management, where she developed a deep appreciation for personalized medicine and long-term outcomes. That foundation now informs her focused work in hormone optimization, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), GLP-1–based weight management, and comprehensive metabolic care.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing, and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Chamberlain University. Dr. Gochenour is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is an inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Phi Pi Chapter), recognizing academic excellence and professional leadership.
Dr. Gochenour maintains active professional involvement with the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), the Obesity Medicine Association, the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners, and the North Carolina Nurses Association.
